A woman of many talents, she taught typing, bookkeeping and shorthand at Grand Rapids Christian High School, and for a few years she recorded all the minutes of the Synod of the CRC. Together with her husband, John Sidney Bos, who preceded her in death, she sang duets and solos at many church services and she was the soprano soloist for some performances of the Messiah.
