Nancy Jane "Nannie" Esteb was born January of 1866, to Isaac R. Esteb and Elizabeth C. Gray in Hamilton, Caldwell Co., MO, and died May 25, 1954, in Freeport, Stephenson Co., IL. She married Rev. Willis Hamilton Cable, Sr. on Aug. 22, 1899, in Hamilton. Their known children were Mary S, born 1901 Iowa, Martha Elizabeth born 1906 Nebraska, and Dr. Willis Hamilton Jr., born Feb. 6, 1909 Iowa.

Rev. Willis H. Cable Sr. was born in 1865, to Hamilton Bigelow Cable and Martha Jane Young, in Illinois, and died on Nov. 27, 1948, in Freeport, Stephenson Co., IL. (Ilinois Statewide Death Index, 1916-1950). Besides his pastorates in the Methodist Church, he was Vice President of Simpson College in Indianola, IA, in 1930.
