I detached this from the marriage Family:James Milk and Sarah Brown (1), and now am in the process of detaching it from the parents Family:John Deering and Unknown Anna (1).

Regarding the marriage: The Deacon James Milk in this marriage married (2) widow Anna Deering, not Molly Dearing. Molly Deering, the daughter of the mentioned widow, married James Milk Jr. the son of Deacon James Milk, not the Deacon. So there is no spousal association of a Mary or Molly Deering with the James Milk who married Sarah Brown.

Regarding the parents: This Molly is shown born in 1731. This would be before the marriage of her alleged parents. Plus they have another daughter named Mary, of which Molly was a common form. So she does not appear to belong in this family.

Who is she? The death date of 7 Sep 1789 is suspiciously like the death date of her mother, 7 Sep 1769. There are a lot of Deerings, so it is hard to say no such person existed, but no such person is coming up in my searching. Given the mess on the marriage page (two husbands, two wives from a merge) this person appears to the be result of major confusion pulling some facts from mother, some from daughter, then obscured by transcription errors. If somebody know who this is, they need to clean up this page and provide sources so the readers can figure out who they are talking about. --Jrich 10:34, 2 February 2011 (EST)
