Comments left by DataAnalyst: Her death record gives her birth date as 27 Oct 1870 (supported by the 1880 census, in which her age was 9) and her parents as Henry Kline and Angelina Quillman. Find A Grave memorial #256285044 (for Henry's first wife) gives the newspaper announcement source for the marriage of Henry Kline and Angeline Quillman on June 10, 1872. It is reasonable to assume that Amelia was the last child of Henry's first wife who died shortly thereafter, except for the fact that Amelia's death certificate says she was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania and Henry and Caroline were living in Berks County in the 1870 census (as was Angeline Quillman). A birth in a different county is consistent with an illegitimate birth. However, other possibilities exist, including that Amelia's death certificate is incorrect in both her birth place and the name of her birth mother.
