McClung Strode is the son of Amos (Stroud) Strode and Jane McClung. Jane McClung is the sister of Charles McClung that married Charity Vandal. Charles McClung witness the marriage of his sister to Amos Strode in Warren County, KY on 27 Nov 1811. Jane McClung is the daughter of Thomas McClung and Nancy Agnes Black. It is believed that she was born about 1785 and died about 1815. Amos and Jane McClung Strode had one other son named Leander Strode.--Jacie9 04:48, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
