Suspect Matthew Linge was actually Martha Linge. According to the Suffolk parish records, she was christened on 17 July 1785 at Knettishall, the daughter of Stephen Linge and Susannah. In 1806 she had an illegitimate son, William, born in West Harling, father probably William Fendick. She later married William Warman and had a daughter, Susan Warman. William (the illegitimate) was my ggg grandfather. Howard Fisher
