I believe the correct spelling of her name is Marytje, per the given source. Pronounced marie-cha, later anglicized to Margaritte.--Scot 20:32, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

Marytje derrives from Maria and can also be written as: Marijtje, Marietje, Mary, Marie In Neder-Duits ( West- German language from which Dutch is derrived)the -ie is mostly written as -ij or -y --henk 09:46, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

I understand there are several spellings, but is Marytie one of them? could well be :-) the - je form is sometimes -ie
