Torrey does not indicate even a possible surname for the wife of Dr. Daniel Stone. He cites six sources for this marriage: Boston VR, 1(error for p. 66); Gregory Stone genealogy, 74-5 (J. Gardner Bartlett); Blake-Glidden, 238 (Edith Bartlett Sumner); Farr Ancestry, 265 (Edith Bartlett Sumner) and Whitin Family, 168 (Katharine Whitin Swift) - all mention wife Mary, but give no surname. Warner-Harrington, 639 (Frederick Chester Warner) was not checked due to lack of access. This woman was probably born sometime in the 1620-1625 time frame, but definitely not in Cambridge, Mass.--Jaques1724 12:58, 6 June 2011 (EDT)
