Date of birth for Mary Jones [22 June 2012]

The 1656 date probably comes from the estimate in the excellent Tillotson genealogy (p. 61). The author apparently made a rough guess but not within the context of the rest of the children of Lewis and Deborah (Palmer) Jones. Since the Jones/Palmer marriage occurred in 1660 and the first recorded child was not born until 1667 (one Hannah Jones married Matthew Ransom at Saybrook in 1682, perhaps another unrecorded daughter of Lewis and Deborah), an estimated date of birth of 1662 for Mary and 1664 for Hannah is more realistic.--jaques1724 13:04, 22 June 2012 (EDT)
