death date [17 April 2014]

The death date that was deleted during the merge: 10 Mar 1675/1676 Dedham, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts, is actually a misreading of the actual date "10: 3: 76" (p. 15 of Dedham Early Records), which by comparison to surrounding records is the 10th day of the 3rd month, but the 3rd month was May in old-style dates, not March. This death date applies to Mary Smith, the wife of Asahel Smith (e.g., p. 8:96 of Dedham Historical Register), however, not Mary Smith, the wife of Christopher Smith, who was wrote a will in 1684 (as cited on this page) that clearly shows she lived past this date. --Jrich 20:15, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
