Incorrect parents [17 November 2021]

Removed Family:Samuel Edson and Mary Dean (1) as parents.

The daughter of Samuel did not marry Joseph Pettingell. She is named in her father's will (without married name being specified) dated 1770 so could not have been the Mary who died in 1746 leaving no heirs.

Furthermore, the cited source Source:Edson, Carroll Andrew. Edson Family History and Genealogy : Descendants of Samuel Edson of Salem and Bridgewater, Mass, p. 52, only covers her birth. However, the coverage of Mary herself is on p. 66, apparently uninvestigated, since it does not show this marriage, rather two others ( George Packard and Jonathan Mehurin, she d. 1774).

There appear to be only two Mary Edsons with a recorded birth between 1710 and 1730, and neither appear to be the ones that married Joseph Pettingell. --Jrich 15:47, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
