Church of St. Mary the Virgin at Eccleston, Lancashire, in Lancashire Archives. Lancashire, England, Births and Baptisms, 1813-1911. (Preston, England)
Register Type: Parish Registers, Reference Number: Pr 2695/11.

"Baptisms solemnized at Eccleston in the County of Lancaster in the year 1825.

8th May 1825, Mary, 2nd daughter of Thomas and Margaret Eastham, Abode: Heskin, father's occ'n: carpenter, signed Thomas Marshall, curate

If you took Mary's age from the census, it could easily be wrong. People of more than 15 years of age had their ages rounded down to the nearest 5. But location-wise the baptism is a problem. Eccleston and Heskin are west of Chorley and southwest of Preston. Have you proof that she was born at Thornley?
