Advisory on Parentage of Mary Chew

A familysearch submission claims that Mary Chew's parents were Col. Thomas Chew and Martha Taylor, but since that Col. Thomas Chew was born bet. 1700-1702, he would have been YOUNGER than this Mary Chew. Perhaps a different Thomas Chew was her father? More research necessary.

This maps to the family of Family:Thomas Chew and Martha Taylor (1). The family page does not list a daughter named Mary.

Our Cooper Family lists Mary Chew, spouse of Goodrich Lightfoot as the daughter of Thomas Chew and Martha Taylor.

Until further data is available, this family has been entered separately as Family:Thomas Chew and Martha Taylor (2). Either there are two similar families or some error has been made.
