No death info [2 January 2011]

I removed the death info (1723 in Mendon) when I merged Mary Bass with Mary Butterworth (the latter being the correct wife of Samuel Thayer). There is no death for Mary Thayer listed in the Mendon VR for 1723, and her death date is apparently unknown (from sources I used). There was no citation for her death, and therefore no waying of knowing if it belongs to this person. If someone finds evidence of her death, it can be added with appropriate citation. --DataAnalyst 19:01, 1 January 2011 (EST)

Note: Source:Snow, Nora Emma. Snow-Estes Ancestry, footnote on Vol. 2, p. 116: (paraphrasing) Swansea VR ([1], bottom record on page) say Mercy m. Joseph Sloud, could conceivably be either Slade or Blood, suggesting Mercy and Mary are the same person. Shows Mercy, b. 22 Jan 1663, m. (1) Swansea 12 Dec 1681 Joseph "'Sloud' prob. Slade", m. 2 Samuel Thayer. Born in 1663 would be 18 when married in 1681. --Jrich 05:04, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
