Did Mary or Elizabeth marry Moses Higgins? [4 September 2010]

The VR of Eastham published in Mayflower Descendant show two marriages:

p. 17:143: July 3. 1735 then Moses higgins & Elizabeth Arey ware married by mr Isaiah Lues

p. 16:195: John young Jun'r and Mary Airie were married by mr Benjamin Webb on ye 26th day of Januarie annodomini : 1726/7 [Mayflower Families Through Five Generations, Stephen Hopkins, p. 59, says this is the Mary, d/o Richard and Lydia. So does an article on Richard Arey, NEHGR 83:267.]

"Richard Higgins: a resident and pioneer settler at Plymouth and Eastham..." by Katharine Higgins says that Moses Higgins m. Elizabeth Arey. The abstract of his will, dated 28 Feb 1792, mentions "my beloved wife Elizabeth".

I can't seem to find Vol. 3 of the History of Martha's Vineyards, cited as saying Mary Arey m. Moses Higgins, but I was wondering if there was any confirming sources. What is the source of the death date? In 1740, a death record would certainly provide her married name. I did a cursory search for it in the usual places and haven't found anything myself. --Jrich 21:06, 4 September 2010 (EDT)
