Person talk:Martha Middaugh (1)

1880 Census (Martha is dead) [26 September 2023]

I believe that the 1880 census should be removed from this record as I believe that you have added Martha's date of death around 1873 and that her husband, William J. Milks, married Matilda Smith before the 1880 census. I believe that the "Matilda Milks" listed on Martha H. Middaugh's page is actually William's 2nd wife, Matilda Smith Milks. If you agree, please delete the 1880 census from this record.

Done - and also removed her middle name of Matilda, which came from the 1880 census. --DataAnalyst 23:37, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

I have been hunting for a date of death and/or burial records for Martha Middaugh Milks but have not found anything. However, there are census records that show a Martha Middaugh in the household of Nelson Middaugh in the same area so I suspect that Nelson is Martha's father. rc--Rebekah Carlisle 23:24, 24 April 2016 (UTC)

Other trees show her parents as Nelson Middaugh and Elizabeth Boice, possibly based solely on census records.--DataAnalyst 23:37, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
