There is a problem with dates of marriage for Lydia Dawley. The North Kingstown records show Lydia Dawley married Silvester Gardiner in 1736 and she was still his wife in 1749 when her father, John Dawley, wrote his will. Possibly it was her sister Sarah Dawley who was wife of James Sweet and was deceased before 1749 when her father, John Dawley wrote his will.
