Which Thomas Wheeler is the father? [10 April 2008]

Drawing from Source: Wheeler Families of Old Concord, Massachusetts by George Tolman, there are two Thomas and Mary Wheelers in Concord at the time. Thomas Wheeler, s/o Thomas, and known as Lieut. m. Mary Brooks. Thomas Wheeler, s/o John, m. Mary Munroe.

It is clear from the closeness of the dates below that Thomas and Lucy below were born into different families. (These come from Source:Concord, Massachusetts, births, marriages, and deaths, 1635-1850)

Thomas Wheeler ye son of Thomas Wheeler junr & mary his wife was born February ye 6: 1722/3.
Lucy Wheeler ye Daughter of Thomas Wheeler and Mary his wife was born May ye 3d: 1723.

The unfortunate early death record for the young Thomas identifies his father as Lieut Thomas Wheeler, placing Lucy in the family of Thomas Wheeler and Mary Munroe.
