I find nothing in the literature connecting Leah (Page) Hotchkiss to any birth family. As of 22 November 2018, two Find A Grave memorials (177502293 and 79922394) assert that she was born at New Haven 10 December 1757 daughter of Joseph and Sybil (Collins) Page but the basis for this date and these parents is not apparent.

Leah's eldest known child, according to Talcott's Early Guilford Families, was named Joel Page Hotchkiss. Amos and Rebecca (Burgess) Page of Branford had a son Joel Page born there 27 October 1763. This might indicate that she was an unrecorded daughter of Amos and Rebecca. If the record of Amos's probate (1830) has survived, it should include children of his deceased children of whom Leah (d. 1794) may have been one.

I am leaving her record in WR as is although I think it more likely that she was daughter of Amos than of Joseph.--jaques1724 01:31, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
