Could your posting of this Joseph Way, be the same Joseph Way, who was the "son of Joseph & Lottie" who died 6-17-1863, at the age of 37-11-8? He was buried in the Renicker Cemetery, in Wabash County, Indiana. He was the only one with the surname of "Way" buried there. With an 1863 death date, he could have been born in 1827.

The widow of your Joseph Way, Susannah, was buried a few miles away, at the Long Cemetery. There was a Joseph Way buried there, but he would seem to be too young to have been Susannah's husband. There were 4 other "Way" burials at the Long Cemetery, but they do not seem to have been connected.
