[add comment] [edit] Census links [25 September 2017]I was trying to cleanup the census citations and I am having a hard time figuring out which census entry you meant for 1810-1830. For 1810, the last line on this page is indexed as Joseph Walser on both familysearch.org and heritagequest.com. There is a Joseph Walker in Litchfield, but your description seems to be pretty specific about Newport. I was confused because there are a bunch of young children in the household in Newport and Joseph at 19 is a little young to be the head of the household when his father is still alive. For 1820, are you referring to the Thomas Walker line on this page? Otherwise I don't find a Joseph Walker in Newport as implied by the Record Name field. I only see one adult male (presumably Thomas) so how could Joseph be there? There is a Joseph Walker in Winfield, Herkimer County. For 1830, I assumed you are referring to the Joseph Walker line on this page. I wasn't sure because the number of children didn't match, but once I found the 1850 Census showing him in Newport, I could understand how the match was made. Can you please provide the correct links. Thank you. --Jrich 23:15, 25 September 2017 (UTC) [add comment] [edit] Joseph Walker [8 October 2017]Per your request: Reference: Find A Grave Memorial # 86335454 Joseph Walker was born 1790 died 1889 and is buried in the West Winfield cemetery, Herkimer County, New York.
