I removed the death date of "3 JAN 1773". It is contradicted by gravestone. The source is said to be Descendants of Elisha Cole by Curtis, but according to the index of that book, Joseph is only mentioned on p. 25, where he is named as father of Priscila Smalley, short-lived first wife of Elisha Cole Jr. No death date (or any details) for Joseph is given. --Jrich 11:31, 1 January 2012 (EST)

I also removed citation of Truro VRs, p. 96. I cannot find Joseph Small/Smalley mentioned on that page, nor does the index list that page for him, nor can I find his death recorded anywhere in that work? --Jrich 11:35, 1 January 2012 (EST)
