Parentage of Joseph [20 June 2009]

I think the alternate parents on Joseph's page come from the confusion caused by excessive use of the name Nicholas in preceeding generations. Nicholas Norton and Mrs. Unknown are Joseph Norton's (presumed) grandparents in England. His father, the immigrant, probably married in Massachusetts wife Elizabeth (last name unknown).

I'm inclined to remove the first set of parents (Nicholas and Mrs. Unknown), as it is pretty clear that's not right and not the same as Nicholas and Elizabeth.... and so I'm leaving this note here to explain why for anyone else who is monitoring this page, as I'm not really sure of the right protocol for making changes yet.
