3 children page 289 calls his wife Nabby, while page 1638 calls Samuel's mother Abigail. ( I have made this connection, but it is not a proved connection, though the years and names appear to be compatible)

It is not clear what book page 289, page 1638 refer to, but ignoring that, Nabby is a nickname for Abigail, just like Patty for Martha, Sukey for Susan and Dolly for Dorothy, Fanny for Frances, etc. There is no need to prove it is the same name, because it is a nickname, and hence does imply the same name. --Jrich 21:19, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
