Person talk:Joseph Barker (7)

unsourced comment

I removed the comment "1 child". It was unsourced, I haven't been able to verify it, but what I have found suggests it is wrong. The 1850 census shows one daughter Louisa, but also a Robert Thomas and his wife Susan, age 25. Since this couple is likely to have a daughter named Susan based on the mother's name, and were married 1822 making a daughter b. 1825 an easy fit into this family, she is probably their daughter. I have been unable to locate a birth record, but the intention for Robert Thomas names the wife as Susan H. Barker (here 7th from bottom on p. 217), and her death record (here, #409) unfortunately does not list her parents. So there are at least two children. --Jrich 05:11, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
