From John Weston (23): Baptism? [13 May 2009]

There was previously a baptism shown without sources, in Salem, on 9 Mar 1660-1, i.e., the same day as his birthdate. There is a baptism shown in Vital Records of Salem for "Weston, John, s. John, bp. 29 : 6 m : 1661. C.R.1." [29 Aug 1661], but none in March. As the date is different, and as John Weston, Sr., is said to have relocated to Reading by 1652 (see NEHGR 55:290), it is not at all clear this is the same person versus another John Weston. I removed the Mar baptism as improbable and unsupported, but don't have enough evidence to add the Aug. one. --Jrich 17:10, 13 May 2009 (EDT)
