"The marriage of a John Perry to Ann Newman in Sawbridgeworth in 1629 has been assigned to the Roxbury man, but there are reasons to doubt this^[1]. First, we do not see a Christian name for the wife of John Perry of Roxbury. Second, his first known child is born eight years after this proposed marriage. Since the only daughter of John of Roxbury is Elizabeth, and since an Elizabeth Perry marries in Roxbury in 1644, it is likely that John Perry had married in Roxbury about 1636 an Elizabeth, parentage unknown, and she then married John Hansett."^[2]--DataAnalyst 17:51, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
