[add comment] [edit] Two pages in one [17 January 2012]The will seems pretty conclusive that the man in Virginia was the son of Joshua Henshaw since it was proved 1736 and names the children of Joshua Henshaw so couldn't be the same man that died in 1767. I am removing the connection to Joshua and create a different page for that John Henshaw and leaving this otherwise as it is. Virkus, Vol. 7, p. 796, says "John (1679-1767) of Dorchester, Mass.: to VA 1708, bought land from Lord Fairfax, 13 miles from Berkeley; m. Mary Stubman.", apparently the source for the one email, but Virkus doesn't give his sources and since he spells it Mary Stubman so probably didn't see the marriage record in Cambridge. Or the birth of their son John at a time when the son of Joshua would have been 60. --Jrich 09:24, 17 January 2012 (EST) |
