confusion [28 March 2009]

I have considerable doubt about the identification of John Edmiston's wives, children, and personal history post c1780. I believe the identity of the wives is based on the assumption that he moved to Davidson County TN after about 1780, but I've seen little evidence to show the the person there is the same person as lived in SW VA. Q 09:25, 17 March 2009 (EDT)

Additional Work

Need to do a better job scrubbing for records for John in SW VA. At the time the article was prepared, some records for Edmiston's had not be captured, and there may be more records i for this particular John than was initially presented. Check the notebooks. Q 20:04, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
