The manor of Ash or Ashe [27 July 2021]

The manor of Ash or Ashe is described in an article in Wikipedia" entitled "Ash, Musbury". This confirms it is the estate connected to part of the Drake family.

Musbury is a parish near Axminster, in the easternmost part of Devon, adjacent but NOT part of Dorset, the next county east. Somehow Ash had got linked to East Ash, a small parish in western Devon and also to some fictitious place near Portland in Dorset.--Goldenoldie 11:24, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
