Death year [22 February 2012]

I changed the death year from 1701 to 1700, as 2 sources I have access to (including Barbour collection) give 1700. The Foote Family (1907) gives 1701, but I assume the Barbour collection is more accurate. However, I do not have access to the Ricker collection, so don't know what year it gives. If someone can look it up and finds that it says 1701, go ahead and change it, but please include the citation text. Thanks.--DataAnalyst 22:19, 21 February 2012 (EST)

Good catch. I didn't look closely enough when I was updating the sources. By the way, if you're doing much work on early Connecticut families, the Ricker collection is extremely valuable and available on CD [1]. It includes the Barbour Collection, VR's from towns not in Barbour (because they were published prior - Norwich, Coventry and Mansfield are examples), and some cemetery data which is especially useful if the death is not in the VRs (also an indicator that you can probably find a memorial on Find A Grave).--jaques1724 10:34, 22 February 2012 (EST)
