From John Bondhouse (1): Possible parents [23 May 2012]

This is just a guess at this point, I haven't researched further: http://www.genlias.nl/nl/searchDetail.jsp?val=0&xtr=19556448. --Jennifer (JBS66) 17:31, 22 May 2012 (EDT)

Well, one approach would be to flesh out the family in the Netherlands based on the above reference, and then see who "goes missing" and whether they show up in the US using the name "Bondhouse". --Pkeegstra 09:16, 23 May 2012 (EDT)
I'll start building up the pages for Family:Gerrit Bouwhuis and Jansjen Haagstee (1) - if we end up with duplicate people, we can always merge them later. --Jennifer (JBS66) 09:50, 23 May 2012 (EDT)
I see a marriage of a Johanna Bouwhous born 1898 who used the name Bondhouse in the death of a child in 1927. Is she from the same family? --Pkeegstra 11:16, 23 May 2012 (EDT)
Good timing :-) I was just trying to figure out if Family:Jan Bouwhuis and Aaltje van der Meer (1) had any children. Let me see if I can find a birth certificate for Johanna to prove. --Jennifer (JBS66) 11:22, 23 May 2012 (EDT)

Here's a funny one. They swapped the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom. (Did I get the permalink right?) But I see you already found it. --Pkeegstra 11:28, 23 May 2012 (EDT)

In Family:Dirk van der Roest and Johanna Bouwhuis (1) was there a second Jansje van der Roest between Evert and Nellie? That's what I see in the 1910 census. --Pkeegstra 12:07, 23 May 2012 (EDT)

I believe that I (and the ancestry indexer) misread the age for Evert (he was 15 not 11 in the Ellis Island manifest). Regarding the swapped mothers - that is an indexing error, the original document has the correct mothers listed (I sent an error message to the archive regarding this). --Jennifer (JBS66) 12:41, 23 May 2012 (EDT)

Here is some info about the children of Jan Roelof Bouwhuis's first marriage. --Pkeegstra 12:39, 23 May 2012 (EDT)

Do we have a verdict yet? Also, we have pages in Kalamazoo County for Mt. Ever-Rest North and Mt. Ever-Rest South. Do we want an "Ambiguation Page" which stands for both of them at once for cases where one doesn't know which one applies? --Pkeegstra 15:25, 23 May 2012 (EDT)
I believe that Person:John Bondhouse (1) = Person:Jan Bouwhuis (5). Other family members that came to the U.S. used Bondhouse at some point, and the parents listed in his marriage to Lena closely resemble Gerrit Jan Bouwhuis and Jansjen Haagstee.
I agree that making a page for Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park is a good idea. I see a few sources online that don't distinguish between North and South. --Jennifer (JBS66) 15:36, 23 May 2012 (EDT)
