Deleted the discussion about whether E P Petty should be kept as an alternate name because it is long, and it doesn't apply to James Petty. It may be found in the history if someone is interested, but bottom line, all data for E P Petty seems to be an ancestral file and a bunch of unsourced websites, much of the information, but not all, overlaps the information of James Petty, and has all the signs of some researcher getting thoroughly confused and inferring a non-existant person into being as a result. It was merged into this page to get rid of the unnecessary page and shouldn't be recreated without (primary) sources. --Jrich 17:56, 20 April 2011 (EDT)
