Hello, I submit the following information which could be associated with this James Lyon.

School Taxes Due. Taxes due school district no. 14 have been in the hands of collector James Lyon since June 1,and are due., The penalty will be placed on all receipts not paid before Aug. 1,1909.T.J. Sparks, Chm.Board. [1]

The time frame would correspond (James died in 1911), The location corresponds and the fact that James showed interest in becoming Jailor in 1907 (the locals may have proposed this job).
