Using FreeBMD [5 March 2017]

1. Dates in FreeBMD are given as quarters and these can be used in WeRelate (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec). If you use a month you may be giving an incorrect date. 2. The place given in Free BMD is always a "Registration District" which may cover a great many more places than that named, particularly in rural areas.
