Jacob Dunn's parents [12 August 2013]

I am the son of Donald E Dunn, grandson of Lyle Dunn and Great Grandson of John Raymond Dunn.

I have been researching my Dunn family for some time now and could not prove the parents of Jacob 1800-1850. I have suspected Jacob Prime Dunn but have not been able to provide any real link to him. I am wondering if there is some document or something that I am not aware of ? I am aware of the Hartford, Pa. censu that shows a Jacob P Dunn and a Jacob Dunn on it. This Jacob is the correct age but I am not sure if our Jacob was ever in Hartford. Any information would be of great help as I would really like to know more of my lineage.
