source for birth date? [5 February 2025]

Is there a source for his exact birth date? Find A Grave, the only source cited, gives a birth year of 1765 and then says "His exact year of birth is unknown, but per the census 1820-1840 this is an approximate year of birth. His age on the 1850 census appears to be incorrect." Why change "est 1765" (matching the info at Find A Grave) to "1766", which implies there is a source for that exact year?--DataAnalyst 19:47, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
