I am extremely interested to know the source for the information regarding Isaac Bechtelsheimer b. 1697 and came to America in 1727, plus his son Abraham Bechtelhymer b. 1723.

I am a direct relation to Johan George Bechtelsheimer 1715 - 1790 who came to America in about 1727 and became very involved in the Church of the Brethren.

I am a direct descendent of Johan George Bechtelsheimer, his son Jacob Bechtelsheimer 1749 - 1820, and his some David Pickelheimer, who elected to change the family name to Pickelheimer. My name at birth was David Pickelheimer and has been shortened to Pick during WWII.--Pickelheimer 01:29, 23 January 2012 (EST)
