He is probably the same as Hendrik Smitter. There is a Return of Birth of from the state of Michigan date 7 May 1881 where his name in in. Hendrik Smitter maried Carlotta Pettit in 24 Apr 1902 Grand Rapids,​ Kent,​ Michigan. The had as I know two children. These children died at young age (before 1910)

It must be him. He is born in 1880. In the US Census 1930 Henry is married to Mary. He emmigrated in 1880 is was born on the ship. (which is not right) See:Henry Smitter I will place the information. Thanks. Paul--paulsnip 18:16, 12 April 2012 (EDT)
