If so, the maiden name of the wife of Leendert Mulder is consistently Janke Mulder or Jane Mulder, never Dykhuis.

No, I tracked the family of the above Jaantje Mulder to the 1910 census and to the 1880 census. Her husband was Marinus, and her maiden name was Scholte or Scholten.
