Wrong Parents [25 January 2022]

This Hannah is NOT the daughter of Tarrant Sibley. Besides her birth in Vermont per the 1850 census, Tarrant's heirs executed a deed in 1823 (Worcester Deeds Vol. 236. p. 72), naming "Hannah Putnam Widow, daughter of the said Tarrant deceased". She could not have been the woman who married Thomas Franklin. This deed is consistent with her marrying (1) Bartholowmew Putnam (for whom, Tarrant Sibley was co-executor with his widow Hannah (Worcester Probate 48273), m.
