I believe this lady's father is Alle Alles Hooghuis from GENLIAS, born in 1842. But I can't make any progress on identifying her mother, called "Adelia" in the 1880 census and "Doetze" in her marriage records.--Pkeegstra 07:59, 11 November 2011 (EST)

I happened to see your note and I found a few links. One thing to note, there were at least 2 Alle Hooghuis in Grand Rapids. The other family was this one: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/M7NV-YX6/p_147959132
Allen Hyhouse M 34 Hillshy Hyhouse F 28 Nicholas Hyhouse M 6 Anna Hyhouse F 3 John Hyhouse M 11M

On FamilySearch, there was a marriage record for William that indicates his mother's surname was Meyer: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/M3BQ-267/p4

Lastly, there is a marriage record for a Hooghuis and Meyer here: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.2/MDGY-4W6/p1. --Jennifer (JBS66) 09:15, 11 November 2011 (EST)

Alas, even with this evidence I can't track Adelia/Delia Meyer back to the Netherlands. But for sure this is enough to make up a page. --Pkeegstra 15:02, 11 November 2011 (EST)
