Alternative Parents [27 June 2010]

As I recall, not having looked at this family line for sometime, there is considerable confusion between two different sets of Carters, using similar given names, both located in Tidewater Virginia area. The "Duplicate parents" note is probably related to this problem. Carter Family in Southwest Virginia provides some background that may be of use in sorting these lines out.
