Geesje's name [7 November 2014]

Her father is indicated in Riker's book as Harmen Hendricksen. Hendricksen would be his patronymic name, not his surname. Thus, Geesie/Geesje's name would be Geesje Harmens. Following WR's convention, Harmens would be placed in the surname field. --Jennifer (JBS66) 14:49, 7 November 2014 (UTC)

Please do not hesitate to jump in and make the correction, as per your expertise in this area. I would still include the Alt surname "Hendricksen" on her page, however, since that has likely been carried forward in subsequent references on this side of the pond after Riker. Geesie/Geesje is a part of the Van Alst cemetery project that Artefacts has begun. Contributions to the effort are most welcome. --Cos1776 20:30, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
