http://www.historischeverenigingstaphorst.nl/media/geboorten%20staphorst/STAPHORST1811tm1863def.pdf has a Niesje born 23 Aug 1849 in Rouveen, but there is another Niesje born to the same parents in 1851. I'm not seeing a Gurje in these records. --Jennifer (JBS66) 16:10, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

I think this gurje is niesje, saw it too

Niesje is in the 1880 census so Ibet she's not the one married to Bartels

I went through the Death Records fro Staphorst from 1849 1850 & 1851 but couldn;t find a Niesje who died, so I really think that Niesje & Geertje are the same and that means that Gurtje could be our Grace
