[add comment] [edit] Rockford [16 February 2017]Shortly after his marriage, he moved to Rockford, Illinois. There he worked as a machinist for the East Rockford Machine Company. The company was owned by his nephew, Carl (Charles) Forsberg. It is not known if Frank was a partner, or just an employee. The company owned a patent for the improved manufacturing process of barb wire, and was sold for a great profit (possibly in 1899 or 1900). --PhilGambrel 19:41, 16 February 2017 (UTC) |
