I removed "Marital Status: Widowed" because the source does not say that. It is important not to attribute information to the source that it does not contain. --Jrich 00:32, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Jrich your incorrect, please see the link that was provided. Clearly she is marked WD = Widowed. Thanks, Ken
- I have followed it, once when I copied the information to the person page, and twice more after this post, and then another time using the old version of the page, and no where do I see a WD. Perhaps you provided the wrong link? Perhaps you meant to add this to another source citation, like the census record? But that is not where it was, and since you provide sparse descriptions of what you take from source, I have to take what you posted at face value, i.e.,
- Connecticut, United States. Connecticut, Deaths, 1640-1955
- Ellen A. Markham Wells, 1913 Middletown, Middlesex, Indian Hill Cemetery
- www.familysearch.org [1]
- Marital Status: Widowed
