Person talk:Elizabeth Trowbridge (7)

Newton (now part of Boston), Suffolk County, Massachusetts, USA [28 August 2011]

Don't understand what was intended by this. According to wikipedia Newton is a separate city and in Middlesex county. Of course, if the point is that she died within the city limits of Boston, I think a little more details on her death would be needed. --Jrich 00:57, 28 August 2011 (EDT)

I'm not sure why I had the notes on Newton and the wrong county in my database - something I did some time ago. I noticed it after the upload and made notes to correct it, but hadn't got around to it yet. I fixed the same error on her husband's record - luckily only the 2 records were affected. --DataAnalyst 10:37, 28 August 2011 (EDT)

Volume Number

A nit. Not sure about the volume number on the Dorchester Records up to 1825. It is part of the series released by the Boston Record Commissioners and is volume 21 [1]. The next set of records from Dorchester, after 1825, is volume 36 [2], but as they have individual titles giving them volume numbers seems unnecessary. --Jrich 12:22, 28 August 2011 (EDT)

You're right. I was misled by looking at these records at the American Ancestry website, where they list 2 Dorchester volumes - but the second one is for 1826-1849. I should have checked out the second volume. I have removed the volume number. Will have to correct my other citations from the same source. --DataAnalyst 23:14, 28 August 2011 (EDT)
