There is no record of the birth of an Elizabeth Morse in Groton (where the parents lived) before 1719. There is no birth record of an Elizabeth Morse in Watertown (where the parents came from) in the 1670's. I cannot verify the death date as there is no death location, nor any marriage, documented, but I found no death date of Elizabeth Morse in 1772 in the above two locations.

Neither Source:Bond, Henry. Family Memorials. Genealogies of the Families and Descendents of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and nor Source:Shattuck, Lemuel. Memorials of the Descendants of William Shattuck : The Progenitor of the Families in America That Have Borne His Name nor Source:Savage, James. Genealogical Dictionary of the First Settlers of New England list an Elizabeth in this family.

Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that this page is right. It would then be extremely useful if so, since this child shows up in so few of the standard sources. However by inputting an incomplete page with no sources, this page must be presumed by any serious genealogist to be garbage. So if it were to be true, what a waste by whoever input this, turning something valuable into something useless. --Jrich 12:52, 23 October 2010 (EDT)
