Jesse and Elizabeth Ripple are my GG Grandparents. Their son, Jacob Ripple and Hannah Ripple are my Great Grandparents. Jacob died October 23, 1900 in Sullivan County, Indiana. The Illinois 1855 State Census, Crawford County shows Jesse with 6 others in his household. Jesse and Elizabeth were married in February 1851, (Jesse 3rd marriage). I am pretty certain that Elizabeth is his wife on this Census. Copies of Jesse's 4 marriages/divorces are on file. The 3 marriages are on file at the Robinson, IL Court Annex and his divorce decree with Nancy Black is on file at the Marshall, Illinois Court House. I have yet to find Jesse, Elizabeth, Jacob and Hannah grave sites to date. Jesse's father Jacob was married to a Mary (Polly) Harlin. Mary is buried with her father Josuah and Sister in the East Union Cemetery just southeast of Palestine, Illinois, Crawford County. I would appreciate any added information.
